PUBLIC HEALTH NOTICE – Meningitis Outbreak in Canterbury

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has confirmed a meningitis outbreak in the Canterbury area. Thirteen cases have been reported between 13–15 March, and sadly, two people have died. Please take a moment to read and share this important information.

🆘 Free precautionary antibiotics available

Emergency antibiotics are being offered to people without symptoms who may have been exposed.
You are eligible if you:

No booking or ID needed – please bring your NHS number if possible and a bottle of water.
