Patient Participation Group

Dr Fernando originally launched the group in 2006.  The group consists of 10 patients and 2 members of the surgery team who meet on a regular basis, with our Annual General Meeting normally taking place in July.

There are also 3 patient members who belong to our newly formed virtual group who keep in touch with the Practice by email.

The objectives of the group:

• Provide strategic input and advice to the Practice from a patient’s perspective.
• Provide practical support to the practice.
• To help patients take more responsibility for their health.
• Maintain communication between patients and the practice.
